Terms of Service
Last updated: May 1, 2026 · Effective as posted
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Twivuu websites, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Twivuu on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security risk.
2. The Services
Twivuu evolves frequently. We may add, change, or remove features, impose limits, or perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will endeavor to minimize disruption and communicate material changes where appropriate.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: uploading unlawful, infringing, or exploitative content; attempting to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization; interfering with other users; reverse engineering except where permitted by law; using the Services to build a competing product through unauthorized scraping; sending spam; or circumventing billing, access controls, or rate limits. We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement.
4. Content and licenses
You retain rights to content you upload. To operate Twivuu, you grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide the Services to you and as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license. We do not claim ownership of your creative work.
5. AI-assisted editing and generated content
Twivuu uses third-party AI models (including Anthropic Claude) to interpret natural-language commands, suggest edits, and assist with captions or summaries. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your use case. You must review all AI-assisted results before publishing or distributing content—especially for commercial, medical, legal, or safety-sensitive contexts.
You represent that you have the rights to any footage and prompts you submit and that your use of AI features complies with applicable law and third-party licenses. You agree not to use AI features to generate unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or circumvent Twivuu's acceptable use rules.
Twivuu does not grant ownership of third-party model weights or training data. Rights in your original creative work remain yours subject to the licenses you grant in Section 4.
6. Plans, trials, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans, trials, renewals, taxes, and refunds are governed by the checkout terms shown at purchase and by Stripe's policies where applicable. Fees are billed in the currency shown at checkout unless stated otherwise.
You authorize Twivuu and Stripe to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions until you cancel. You may cancel renewal at any time through the Stripe customer billing portal linked from your Twivuu account settings or checkout confirmation email; cancellation stops future charges at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at purchase.
Downgrades take effect after the paid period ends unless we specify otherwise. Failure to pay may result in suspension or loss of access to paid features until payment succeeds.
Refunds, when offered, are handled case-by-case or as required by law—contact [TODO: support email]. Charge disputes must generally be raised with your bank or card issuer; we encourage you to contact support first so we can help resolve billing issues quickly.
7. Third-party services
Twivuu may integrate with third-party platforms. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party failures beyond our reasonable control.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TWIVUU AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FEES).
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Twivuu and its personnel against claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or legal reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination, including intellectual property disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [TODO: specify country/state — e.g. Delaware, United States], excluding conflict-of-law principles that would apply another jurisdiction's law.
Except where prohibited by law, you and Twivuu agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall lie in the courts located in [TODO: specify venue — e.g. county and state/province], and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. [TODO: Optional arbitration clause — consult counsel for consumer-facing arbitration requirements in your markets.]
Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property or confidential information where permitted by law.
13. Changes
We may modify these Terms. If a change is material, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
